Weekend

I am off this weekend for hiking, wine tasting and kayaking at the coast. I am really looking forward to it. I grew up in a big city and really missed out nature when I was growing up. I hiked for the 1st time when I moved to the Bayarea. I backpacked for the 1st time in 1999 (around Kings Cayon) and that was 1st time I camped as well. I went to white water rafting for the 1st time (in fact only time so far) in West Virginia in 1994. I did my 1st kayaking (from Sausalito to Angel Island back and forth) a few years ago. Last year I went to Peru for 2 weeks and did 5 days backpacking/trekking at Inca Trail... I have been really enjoying all outdoor activities and wish to do more.

I will be thinking of my pilot though. I miss him...
